DSWD SLP BENEFICIARIES IN DINGRAS, ILOCOS NORTE: FIRST TIME MUSHROOM PRODUCERS

In Barangay Suyo, Dingras, Ilocos Norte, 20 simple mothers and farming-fathers turned into co-owners of mushroom production which now earns at least Php 600 to 1,000 for a 4-kilo harvest a day in the last 6 months. Find more at: http://livelihood.dswd.gov.ph/feature_mushrooms/

BEAUTY CARE SKILLS FOR PANTAWID PAMILYA MOTHERS

At the culmination ceremony at Gaisano Grand Toril, Davao City, Director Mercedita P. Jabagat of DSWD interacts with Pantawid Pamilya program participants who recently completed Beauty Care NC II, a TESDA-accredited skills training on Hair Dressing, Nail Care and Foot Spa. To date, 60 beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilya and Sustainable Livelihood Program from barangays Bato, Bayabas, Binugao, Lubogan and Marapangi have finished the course and now earning from their newly-acquired craft.

A MOTHER, ALL-IN FOR DEVELOPMENT
