Crismundo Sibagat, Agusan del Sur – The first marketing center building in the province was formally opened and inaugurated at Barangay Poblacion, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur, yesterday. The Sibagat SKA Federation General Merchandise group and big number of farmers will benefit from the marketing center, which is under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Caraga. “The Sibagat SKA Federation General Merchandise Project serves as a paradigm of a collaborative effort of converging both government and program participants’ resources for viable projects,” stressed DSWD-13 Director Minda B. Brigoli. Majority of the construction materials, labor and the goods to be sold in the merchandise were sourced out from the capital seed fund received from the Self- Employment Assistance sa Kaunlaran (SEA -K), Brigoli disclosed.
